Baby’s Marché is a locally owned specialty market and deli café in Indian Wells, California, founded by husband and wife team Justin and Johanna Snyder. Inspired by a shared passion for food, travel, and intentional living, they opened the first Baby’s Marché in 2023 with a clear vision: to create a modern café and market rooted in quality, consistency, and community.

Justin is a globally Michelin trained culinary professional whose experience spans multiple countries and cultures. His travels and formal training at one of the world’s most respected pastry schools in France shaped a deep respect for craftsmanship, technique, and thoughtful sourcing. This global perspective defines the culinary standards behind Baby’s Marché, from our handcrafted sandwiches to our in-house sauces, specialty coffee, and ceremonial matcha. Where every product reflects care, balance, and uncompromising quality.

Johanna brings a complementary perspective shaped by extensive travel, entrepreneurship, and wellness-driven design. Her appreciation for how food, health, and aesthetics intersect in everyday life influences Baby’s Marché’s elevated yet approachable café experience. She is also the founder of an organic skincare and home aromatherapy brand, curated inside the market as an extension of Baby’s Marché’s lifestyle philosophy.

Rather than replicating any single culture or cuisine, Baby’s Marché is inspired by a universal approach to food, one that values simplicity, beauty, and intention in how food is prepared, shared, and enjoyed. The result is a welcoming deli and café in Indian Wells that blends exceptional ingredients, honest food, and thoughtful design into a consistent experience that feels both local and timeless.

We built Baby’s Marché to be more than a café, a place where intentional food meets human connection. In Indian Wells, we wanted a space where people can slow down, eat thoughtfully, and feel genuinely welcomed.
